  • ISP Clips

Foreign investment in Myanmar declined by US$ 1.2 billion when comparing the FY 2020-21 to FY2019-20 for the months of October to July. This figure is based on the data published by the State Administration Council’s Ministry of Commerce up to July 2021. Just after the coup in February and March, Myanmar received no foreign investment. However, in May 2021, SAC approved the Chinese power project that worth US$ 2.5 billion investment.
